A jerkin is a man’s short close-fitting jacket, without sleeves, worn over the doublet in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. Would have been worn by Elizabethan Sea Dog as well as the Spaniard. Â
•This Jerkin be made of 100% cotton damask fabric
• The lining be made of a linen/cotton combination.
• Has 8 brass metal buttons on the Burgundy and Black, with pewter buttons on the Blue
• Sides are laced to allow expansion of size and allow air to ventilate
• Available in the following colors: pirate black, burgundy damask n’ blue damask, the red damask is being discontinued.
